Meditate In Ten Easy Steps

Meditation is part of good health and well-being. Learning to center your mind, calm your body and open your imagination can not only improve your immune system but lead into more creativity and success in your everyday life. Just like everything you begin, practice is key to get good at it. You have to make time and do it regularly for best results. You will learn to look forward to your daily meditations. Making time to open your mind, explore your spirit journey and strengthen your inner light will create a deeper understanding your powerful true self.

  1. Find a time that suits your lifestyle. For some it may be morning and for others at night before sleep works best. Maybe a break in the middle of the day. Anytime where you will not feel rushed or have interruptions. Whatever time you choose at least a half hour is required for best results.
  2. Start by exploring guided meditations easily found on YOUTUBE or when searched online. Find a guided meditation that feels comfortable. Listen to the voice of the narrator, is the tone calming for you? Is the journey enjoyable? When you find the one that feels right play it and practice daily for at least a week. Meditations that take you through relaxing each part of your body can put you in a place of letting go which is very helpful for beginners. Guided journeys through nature will open your imagination flow and help you surrender to being some place else which is a very important part of meditating. Some are mantras just repeat an affirmation like my favorite”Oppono onono” from Hawaii (see youtube). The goal is to practice focusing your mind and calming your body.
  3. Meditation can be enhanced using sound which might appear like songs but are really sound vibrations that use different frequencies for healing the body and mind. Some guided meditations use sound frequency through the narration which can greatly help calm your mind. Look for guided meditations using Solfeggio’s (musical notes that are healing harmonic frequencies) like Glen Harold uses (see youtube) with beautiful narrations of peaceful journeys. Music like flutes, soft guitar, nature sounds like birds and flowing water all enhance your meditation experience.
  4. When you are ready to create your own meditation without assistance remember to prepare your energetic field first. Remove all stress from the body and focus on white golden light to cleanse your energy. State “I allow only energy of the highest mind and brightest purest light.” Everyone has a different affirmation. Some request only Angelic energy, other request Gods light or Christ’s light. There are many affirmations you can use. Find one you resonate with and use it every time. This helps to clear the path for your connection so you can stream with protection.
  5. Your imagination is powerful. It is the spark to all creation and a vital part of real meditation. Unlike dreams when you meditate you are still aware just in two places at the same time. Aware of the world around you, still able to speak about what you are seeing but your imagination/opened consciousness is receiving images to communicate messages and guide you to journeys beyond the physical. Learning to trust these images, surrender your critical mind from “It’s just my imagination” to allowing the images to flow will strengthen your connection and provide a deeper experience. Remember anything that pops into your mind is important and should be questioned or looked into further.
  6. When images begin to flow stop for a moment and look at the color of what you’re seeing, what do you feel can it be touched? Is there a breeze on your astral body? Is there a smell? Look at your feet. What do they look like? Are they on soil, stone, in water, in space?
  7. Find a landing point to start from. Under a beam of golden light to heal and bathe your spirit letting it pour down and wash away negative energy. Some like to go first to a waterfall and stand under it to cleanse or along a stream as water is helpful for your flow. Maybe a path in nature, or sitting under an Oak Tree as tree’s are good for grounding. Or go to a tropical paradise beach with the waves tickling your toes, or on top of a mountain looking over the world. Even on another planet, anything is possible and wonderful to explore.
  8. As you use your imagination to effort out, seeking, exploring the realm you may call upon a Guide or one may appear in your mind. You might already know a guide you would like to assist you. Some see Angels, Animals, Fairies, Saints or lost loved ones. Whomever comes remember they are not physical and will not physically appear although as you are able to immerse fully with practice, your experience will feel very real. Your imagination is providing the stream/thread to your connection. Listen and surrender to the words that form in your mind and ask questions and surrender to the words that respond. Allow the flow to unfold. What is the message? Ask to be shown and allow the images to flow. Why am I being shown these images? What lesson am I to learn? You are free, limitless with endless potential and power.
  9. Use your meditation time to heal your spirit. See yourself as a small child. Speak to and listen looking into the eyes of that innocent sweet face. Hold and surround the child with love and comfort to heal any pain or misunderstanding you’ve been holding onto that no longer serve you as an adult. You can speak to those who you find hard to forgive imagining them as small children too and see them now innocent and fragile.
  10. You can create a space/cottage/office just for you. Use a twenty step bridge over a stream to get to the sacred place of yours and count down from twenty to one each step until you’re there. The water cleanses your thoughts and the count down will help to strengthen/deepen your connection. Once there look around and see your wonderful space. Have an elevator that opens from floor up and call into the elevator a guide with a message. As the elevator door rises up see the feet first of the individual coming to meet you. Watch the image unfold as the full picture is revealed. This is a wonderful way to connect to guides that may have a message for you or want to show you your light family. Although we live in a 3D world believing that is our reality, it’s important to remember our spirit is conscious pure light energy. When the physical body is finished with the journey your light body will rejoin your matching frequency stream.
